Root Canal Therapy
Root canal treatment is used to eliminate the infection in a tooth when the bacteria in dental decay damage the nerve. The affected tooth is isolated, and anesthetized. The canal which houses the nerve of the tooth is cleaned, disinfected, reshaped, and filled. After this treatment is completed, the tooth can be restored with a crown or sometimes a composite.

Crowns and Bridges
If a tooth is badly broken or has had root canal treatment a single crown can protect the tooth from fracturing. The tooth is reshaped in order to fit a restoration over it that is strong enough to withstand chewing forces. A bridge is a dental prosthesis that serves to replace single or multiple teeth. The teeth near missing teeth are reshaped and have crowns that are fabricated in a way to replace missing teeth. This option is sometimes a better option than an implant if surgery is something you want to avoid.

Nitrous Sedation
A calmer visit can make all the difference – especially for our youngest patients or those with dental anxiety. We offer nitrous oxide sedation (also known as “laughing gas”) to help children and adults with anxiety feel relaxed, safe, and at ease during treatment. This gentle, fast-acting option is inhaled through a small mask and works within minutes. Best of all, it wears off quickly – so patients can return to normal activities right after their visit.

Periodontal Therapy
If your gums bleed and you haven’t had a cleaning in some time a regular cleaning may not be enough to get your gums to a healthy state. With a deep cleaning we make sure you are comfortable by anesthetizing your teeth and gums. Now we clean beneath the gums to remove the plaque that has accumulated over time, and in some cases place antibiotics directly beneath the gums.
